PARENTS - FROLIC WITH YOUR CHILDREN!
Regardless of age, we all need to play and exercise our body, mind, and imagination.
Frolicking with your children is a joyful way to meet these needs, bring you closer together as a family, and enhance your parenting skills.
Studies show children crave disciplined play like the Power Animal Frolics™ and love to play with adults. Many children also lack confidence in their exercise abilities.
Frolicking with your children will provide this confidence, while strengthening their trust and comfort in you.
It's also my experience that the benefits of the Power Animal Frolics™ are greatly enhanced when "two or more" people practice together.
Dr. Oz said on Oprah that we've " . . . got to make physical activity part of family activity."
Enthusiastically talk with your children before and after the frolics. Ask them if they felt any sensations like heat, tingling, or chills. Ask if they saw colors or images. Ask them to make up special Power Animal sounds or stories about what the animals may be doing in each movement. Help them figure out movements they find challenging.
This will open up communication and communion channels with them, giving you valuable insights into what makes them tick.
Talk with them about how they can use the traits, skills, and characteristics of their Power Animals to solve challenging situations at home, school, or play. Help your children apply them to their daily life as often as you can.
And, when you do frolic along, please remember to be just a "player". There's no right or wrong in the Power Animal "Playground."
When advice or criticism is given emotionally or when a child is afraid of being accused, they become very resistant.
On the other hand, encouraging comments and compliments will increase their self-confidence and satisfaction with exercise. Giving a reason for your comment will increase its value even more.
Most of all, let Power Animal smiles spread across your faces, laugh, and have fun.
