T'ai Chi Tiger

Beware The Tiger, King Of All Animals: Feet start together like Yoga Deer. Fists (paws) at t'an tien turned up and held with some tension. Empty step on to heel of left foot, claws come out (fingers spread, tips skyward, with palms away) about shoulder high. There is tension in the paws and claws. As arms come down in circular motion make tight fists and step forward onto right heel and repeat movement.

Claws Sink In: Same as above only the claws turn down after they come out.

Lunging Forward: Same as above only the steps are diagonally left and then right and you shift the weight forward onto the front foot as you turn your claws down. Shift the weight back, step forward with the other foot and repeat.

Lunging Again And Again: Same as above only you shift the weight forward and turn the claws down twice before alternating to the other side. The second step out is longer.

Climbing The Mountain: Step out onto the ball of the left foot. The opposite (right claw) comes up and over with the palm down. The back or left claw is palm up. Plant the left heel, step forward onto the ball of the right foot. As you do, the left hand comes up and around and the right hand drops down. Repeat with the arms circling in a swimming motion.
